You will never have to worry about your daily backup, our technicians will worry for you. They will make sure every day that your backups are complete and successful, in the opposite case a qualified technician will communicate with you by phone to make any correction necessary for your backups to be completed successfully.
Why an off-site backup?
For a backup to be truly efficient, it has to be stored in a distinct environment. That way we can be certain that in the case of a major problem (theft, virus, system crash, fire…) the data is safe. With our solution, your data will be encrypted and stored on a multitude of secure servers, in geographically distinct locations. You can then feel secure that your data is safe and will be available to you after any unfortunate event.
Who has access to my data?
Your account is accessible only to yourself. It is related to your unique licence number. Your data is also encrypted locally, before it leaves your computers. Without your personal password, your data is unreadable and cannot be accessed by anyone.
If a backup error occurs, what do I have to do?
You will receive an e-mail notification to inform you of that error, and a BackupOnline technician will communicate with you the next day to correct the error.
Can I save files without closing the application?
With BackupOnline, it is possible to backup files even when they are being used by another person. BackupOnline allows you to backup databases and mail servers.
Can I restore a file that was deleted last week?
Yes, we keep modified and deleted files for up to 45 days.
My Internet connection is slow. Is it compatible with your solution?
Our solution allows us to make incremental backups, which only save files that have been modified or created since the last backup. This way, your daily backups can be made very rapidly, even with a slow Internet connection.
Do you support Windows Vista?
Yes, we support almost all operating systems.
